The Alamo

Alamo is spanish for the Aspen trees that cover our riverbanks. When we bought this cabin it's profile reminded us of the Alamo in Texas. It was once the home of a spanish priest back in the 1940s, or so the story goes!
The Alamo is a one bedroom cabin overlooking the Big Thompson River under a towering rock cliff, giving you a marvelous view of the river and canyon walls. It has a definite Southwest style that is typical Colorado.

The Alamo sleeps 2 with a queen bed and bathroom with shower. There is a queen size sofa/futon in the living room,as well as a small fireplace, and satellite TV. The little kitchen is just right for preparing your vacation meals and is fully equipped. The bubbling private hot tub is just out the bedroom door on the covered porch facing the river, where you can also enjoy al fresco dining. There is a picnic table and gas grill in the walled private courtyard with natural landscaping. You can see interior photos by clicking on the photo tour link below.

Summer Season May 15th-Oct 14th 3 night minimum stay is $495, extra nights are $165.   Weekly rate with 10% discount is $1050.

The Red Barn

The Red Barn cabin sits by the river behind the B&B main house, and is just right for two! This tiny cabin feels like a doll house and is decorated in country antique style. Couples like it because it is so quiet here and the sound of the river from the bedroom is superb. It's history is unknown to us, but we can make one up if you like!

The small efficiency kitchen will allow you to cook your vacation meals with the help of a gas grill on the spacious front deck. There is a dining table with umbrella there. The sitting room has a sleeper couch and the bedroom has a double bed. Bathroom with shower is next to the bedroom. With the the river lulling you to sleep at night you will find this cabin a favorite with couples who enjoy the intimacy of a quaint, cozy cottage. There is a private two person hot tub on the rear deck with a beautiful mountain and river view! Compact but complete,  it's a perfect vacation cabin.
